Terry Lifts has a warehouse stocked with different sizes and types of second hand platform lifts ready to be refurbished and reconditioned.
When we receive your enquiry for a second hand platform wheelchair lift a visit is needed in order to fully understand your needs. One of the team will arrange a suitable appointment to call in and review your needs and correctly ascertain what is needed both in terms of the type of second hand platform lift and the preparatory building work required to make the property suitable to receive the lift. A complimentary quotation for the second hand platform lift and the preparatory work is then sent to you. Should you wish, you can arrange for your own local builder to do the preparatory work.
As Terry Lifts is the manufacturer, we can install the lift for you or it can be installed by a company that is a member of the Lift and Escalator Industry Association (LEIA) and who have been trained by the Terry Group.
Once your order for a second hand platform wheelchair lift has been received it is then put into the manufacturing facility. The components of the platform lift are checked and if required, are upgraded or replaced in order to bring the second hand lift to current standards. Once the refurbished lift leaves the factory it will provide years of serviceable life.
The benefits of a second hand platform lift is that it is 60% of the list price, has been fully refurbished to meet the latest standards and comes with a 6 month manufacturer’s warranty which can be extended to up to 3 years.
Although there is an extensive stock everything isn’t listed on the web site as new stock is regularly received and a large number of different versions are available (longer, wider, different heights and types etc) and so until the property has been surveyed you won’t know what type, size, height of lift that you require. Again, if you work with a local Lift company that has been trained by Terry Lifts then they can buy a second hand refurbished lift and fit it for you.

I represent a sports club. Rugby. We are in the process of evaluating the cost of an extension to our 10yro clubhouse. this will be a 2 story building so we have need of a wheelchair lift. it needn’t be an all enclosed unit a through the floor would be fine. Probably a home unit would suit. In the last 10yrs. I doubt that our existing disabled facilities have been used more than 10 times. The lift would be about 3Mts. could you gave me a ball park figure to supply a refurbished and new unit fitted and if we can fiit a supply only unit
